In our expertise center we offer top-level medical care to people who (possibly) qualify for a donor lung. We work closely together with our other recognized lung centers in the field of sarcoidosis, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension and cystic fibrosis. Are you possibly eligible for a lung transplant? If so, we will be happy to be at your service and discuss together which care is best for you.

During the first visit to the outpatient clinic, the lung transplant physician will inform you in detail about the (im)possibilities of a possible lung transplantation. The lung transplantation nurse or the nursing specialist will then provide you with additional information. Together they will map out your medical history and state of health in detail. It is possible that the physiotherapist wants to do a 6-minute walking test with you in this initial phase. If desired, we will also take blood samples from you in advance.
